Engineering
It all started with a chip
Electronics power our future—cars, phones, robots, and more. A B.S. in Electronics Engineering trains you to design the tech of tomorrow, where semiconductors are key to innovation, smarter products, and a better quality of life.

Action-reaction: that’s the formula
Chemical processes are everywhere—even if we don’t see them. A B.S. in Chemical Engineering prepares you to design and improve the processes behind the materials used in making most of the products we rely on every day.

From a contemporary perspective, mathematics is an enabling science. It provides a logically coherent framework and a universal language for process analysis, optimization and control. B.S. in Data Science enables you to learn how to extract knowledge from data in order to optimize outcomes and processes, and, at the same time, assures their integrity and security.
Even though it’s not something we think about much, a surprising number of devices we use in our daily lives contain an electronic component: vehicles, smart phones, airplanes, robots. Within B.S. in Electronics Engineering, you will learn to play a key role in developing technologies that contribute to applying these innovations in more products, seeking to improve people’s quality of life and increase the competitiveness of organizations and companies.
Physics allows us to understand how the universe and everything around us works. In the B.S. in Engineering Physics you will learn how to use the principles and foundations of science to create scientific and technological solutions that will impact the way we live in a broad range of areas, such as optics, renewable energies, nanotechnology, among many others.
The food industry is undergoing unimaginable changes: in the near future, scientists will be exploring new sources of protein and other nutrients, and the reuse of byproducts will be the norm, as will 3-D printing of foods. Other forms of production, preservation, storage, and distribution will be required. At B.S. in Food Engineering, you will be a key part of this change making history in the food industry.
The improvement, optimization, and innovation of organizational processes and systems facilitate competitiveness in a globalized, dynamic environment. As part of B.S. in Industrial Engineering, you will apply an integral approach to manage projects and processes for change that will increase quality and productivity using mathematical modeling, data analytics and information technologies to make the best decisions.
Communities and organizations urgently need techniques and processes for improving and/or reinventing their products, services and business models. Within B.S. in Innovation and Development, you will learn to systematically capitalize not only new technologies in an area of engineering concentrations, but also your understanding of human experience and need, as a source of innovation for new technology-based products and solutions. This will improve the quality of life of people and of the systems in which you participate.
QS World Ranking by Subject 2025
The QS World Ranking by Subject 2025 offers an external benchmark to evaluate progress in teaching, research, and impact. It reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen academic quality and international collaboration.
These results are not a goal in themselves, but a way to measure how academic communities evolve over time. They help identify strengths, reveal areas of opportunity, and guide strategic decisions to reinforce education, research, and innovation aligned with global challenges.
