About TEC
Founded in 1943, Tecnológico de Monterrey is one of the largest multi-campus university systems in Mexico and Latin America. Since its inception, it has stood out for its academic excellence, educational innovation, entrepreneurship, global vision, action orientation, and strong ties with industry and employers. It is present in 33 municipalities across 20 Mexican states.
The academic standards of Tecnológico de Monterrey are based on five fundamental pillars:

The Health Research Core aims to improve human health through biotechnology, nanotechnology, and informatics, focusing on (bio)pharmaceutical engineering, healthy foods, and advanced medical devices to provide practical healthcare solutions.
Climate & Sustainability
This Research Core tackles environmental challenges such as climate change and promotes Sustainability through interdisciplinary research, innovation, and policy development.
Industrial Transformation
This Core drives Industrial Transformation through interdisciplinary research, with an emphasis on innovation, digital technology, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing.
