Transforming Learning through Real- World Challenges

What is the Tec Model?

At Tecnológico de Monterrey, our unique learning model focuses on developing competencies through real-world challenges and a memorable university experience. It offers a personalized academic journey, allowing students to explore different paths aligned with their interests, always guided by an inspiring and supportive faculty.

A Model that Challenges

Our educational approach goes beyond the classroom, offering a dynamic experience through real-world challenges. Students apply knowledge, skills, and values individually and in teams. Depending on the program, they complete 1 to 5 challenges per semester—around 30 in total—with increasing complexity throughout their journey.

Why is it Unique?

The Tec Model stands out for its challenge-based learning approach, built on four pillars

  • "Engaging students in real-world Challenge-Based Learning

  • Offering academic Personalization and Flexibility

  • Ensuring guidance from an Inspiring Faculty

To creating a meaningful, dynamic, and transformative university" experience.
