Innovation that transforms the world.
Through inclusive STEM collaboration, we build sustainable systems, advance healthcare, and shape the future of technology, creating opportunities for all.
Alliances
that amplify
impact,
Ingenia is
an initiative
by the School of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnológico de Monterrey that aims to strengthen the participation of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Our purpose is to actively integrate a gender perspective across all areas of the School—from academic training to research and industry collaboration. We work to raise awareness about the importance of equal opportunities and to support women in their academic, professional, and leadership journeys. To achieve this, we:
Conduct research with a gender lens
We promote research that incorporates a gender perspective to address inequalities and create inclusive solutions. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, we foster innovation that uplifts diverse voices and improves outcomes for all communities.
Advise on equity for studens, faculty and staff
We collaborate with national and international networks that advocate for gender equity in STEM. These partnerships amplify our impact, connect us to shared goals, and open new paths to transform new future of science and engineering.
Build partnerships with equity-driven allies
We collaborate with national and international networks that advocate for gender equity in STEM. These partnerships amplify our impact, connect us to shared goals, and open new paths to transform new future of science and engineering.
Where research
meets real-world
needs
At the School of Engineering and Sciences, we turn knowledge into action. This space highlights how research becomes real-world solutions through entrepreneurship and technology transfer.
From startups to strategic collaborations, we drive innovation with purpose—advancing initiatives that improve people’s lives, protect the planet, and foster shared prosperity. From discovery to solutions, we create impact where it matters most.
InfraRisk360
InfraRisk360 is a Unity3D-based digital twin platform that assesses flood risks on critical urban infrastructure. It integrates hydrologic models, geospatial data, and impact algorithms to simulate events and support resilient, risk-informed decision-making.
Strategies to cut carbon emissions in dairy farms
Nestlé and CAETEC/Tec de Monterrey optimize cattle nutrition to reduce GHG emissions in milk production. They design functional diets, assess additives to lower methane, study rumen and manure composition for reuse in agriculture, and work to improve soil health.
Advanced Perception Algorithms for Smart Mobility
Project focused on understanding next-gen optical perception sensors to develop and validate new algorithms in real highway and urban environments. Using statistical inference and AI, the team designs real-time solutions with researchers, Bendix specialists, and graduate talent.
